Mai Magi - Creator
I'm Mai, and I create all the designs here at MadeByMagi. I hand make each order myself and design the metal elements that my smiths so skillfully bring to life. My husband and I also built a 3D printing workshop in our garage where we make earrings and home decor.
Sustainable materials are always a priority, from only using recycled textile to using fully biodegradable PLA. I started MadeByMagi in 2018, and I'm so happy and proud to see my business grow! Combining my knowledge of textiles with my smiths' knowledge of metalwork, and my husband's knowledge of 3D printing, continues to bring me creative joy and inspiration.

Sven & Steffen - Danish smiths
Sven & Steffen are from Ebeltoft, Denmark. Sven has a background in armor making, and Steffen is currently working on life size cookie cutters for Kvindemuseet in Aarhus. They have a workshop at Grobunden, a collective focused on sustainability.
Sven & Steffen make the ORM pendants as well as the LUNA moons and FREJA RUSTIC rings. They are also working on some exciting new jewellery, coming to the shop in December 2023.

3D printing
All 3D printing at MadeByMagi is done in house - literally! My husband and I built a little workshop in our garage where we make our 3D printed designs (like the SKADI earrings and FAEGIZ Wall Hanger).
All designs are first sketched, then turned into technical drawings by me (Mai), and then said technical drawings are rendered as 3D files by our talented friend Leon (@panicpug on instagram). We only use PLA, a biodegradable thermoplastic alternative made from vegetable matter. This results in a strong, light weight material that'll last for many years without microplastics or oil involved.
